FRIENDS IN DEED – Lon Peruzzi (center) and his dog, Skeeter, had two friends on Thursday, June 2, when they needed them. James Edwards (right) stopped out of curiosity in the driving rain, stuck his head into the demolished trailer and hollered. Lon answered. Michael Owens (left) stopped to help, crawled into the wreckage and managed to move a wall that had pinned Lon and his pup.
