Cedar County Residents,

When my nephew came into the CCMH emergency room with chest pain his heart stopped as Dr. Reynolds was examining him. Dr. Reynolds was able to get him back and he lived many years more. But he didn’t have time to drive to another medical facility.

When my family has needed to use the CCMH emergency room we’ve been taken care of by exceptional doctors who really know what they are doing. I have used the swing bed option, physical therapy, emergency room and the outpatient MRI. What I appreciate most is that it is only 8 miles from my house. I have used two of the specialist doctors who come to the hospital.

If I understand it right if we lose CCMH we will also lose the County Health Department, Medical Mall, and the physical therapy for heart patients. In order to keep them we would have to  vote a special tax to pay for them.

Please vote yes to keep our hospital!
