Bass tournament Saturday on Lake Stockton

Thirty to 40 of the area’s best bass anglers are expected to compete in the upcoming American Bass Anglers Division 126 draw tournament to be held Saturday, March 25. Anglers will gather early in the morning at Old State Park, where they will register and attend a mandatory briefing followed by boat position and partner draw.

This is a qualifying tournament and will get anglers one step closer to qualifying for the 2-day Stockton Division Championship scheduled for June 24-25, 2017 on Stockton Lake, as well as the ABA National Championship scheduled for Oct 18-20 on the Ouachita River at Monroe, LA.

Anglers are also fishing for cash and prizes, many of them donated by local businesses. Anglers appreciate the Stockton community and the services it provides. The public is invited to the launch as well as the weigh-in. Launch will take place at 7:00 a.m; weigh-in will begin shortly after 3:00 p.m.
