The annual meeting of the Friends of the Library, Inc. is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018. It will be held at the library meeting room, 808 South Main in El Dorado Springs. Three board positions of three years will be filled at this meeting. The organizations’ 2018-2019 budget will be presented and approved. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Friends are currently conducting their annual membership drive. Dues remain $5 per individual and $25 per business or organization. The funds received from dues help with a variety of projects at the library. These go above and beyond what your taxes support. Since Cedar County is a relatively small county we are privileged to have two libraries. Support though this extra source helps us to have a very progressive modern facility. The community is most supportive of all the fund raising efforts that Friends of the Library, Inc. undertake, and we continue to count on your support into the future. Please consider joining, or rejoining, Friends of the Library, Inc. for 2018.

You may give your dues donation to any current board member, Janice Carter, Marlene Dean, Sue Kohn, Claudine Pope, Kay Sewell or Terry Shepard. You may also drop if off to Sue Kohn at KESM Radio or leave them at the library.
