MDC reschedules purple martin program for March 9

Forecast of bad weather forces postponement of March 2 event at Springfield Nature Center.

The forecast of bad weather has forced the rescheduling of the purple martin program that had been planned for March 2 at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Springfield Conservation Nature Center. The purple martin program has been rescheduled for 1-2:30 p.m. on March 9.

The bird banding program that was scheduled to be held this Sunday (March 3) at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
