New deadline for absentee ballot request

March 20 is the last date for voters to request an absentee ballot be mailed for the April 2, 2019 election.

In the past voters have been able to request an absentee ballot be mailed out to them up to the Wednesday prior to each election. A statute change took effect after the November 2018 election that changes that timeframe to two Wednesday’s prior.
