Register for Talent Contest

Judi is still accepting registrations for the 2017 talent contest, to begin at 8:30 p.m. Thursdaty, July 20. Contact Judi at 417/876-2691. Auditions are not needed however advance registration is required. It is necessary to have each contestant’s name (first and last), age(s), what the talent is, name of music or song and a contact telephone number. Songs will not be repeated, so you must register your song and if you decide to change your song, you must contact Judi to make sure that the song is not already spoken for. There is an answering machine if Judi is unavailable when you call. Your call will be returned to confirm your registration.

You must provide your own accompaniment and props, however due to time constraints, no bands or drums will be permitted in the contest. Please let Judi know if you plan to use internet music instead of a karaoke CD,

An entrant’s list will be posted near the Sunderwirth Bandstand by 3 p.m. on the day of the contest, Thursday, July 20. Any program over 3 minutes will have a point deduction. You may enter the contest one time as an individual, group or act.

Prize money of $100 will be awarded to the overall winner (may be chosen from any age category); 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes of $75, $50 and $25 will be awarded to the winners in each of the three age groups.
