Schell Alums to meet for 131st year

The Schell City Alumni Association will hold its 131st annual meeting with the meal beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the NEVC Elementary School in Schell City. All SCHS alumni and former classmates, NEVC Alumni and SCHS friends are encouraged to keep this 131 year tradition alive by participating and/or contributing to the longest continuous high school alumni meeting in the State of Missouri.

The graduating classes to be honored this year are the years ending in a “3” or “8” up through the last graduating class from Schell City in 1996.

The meat, beverages and service will be provided by the Alumni Association.

The cost for each attendee will be $5 and each Alumni is requested to provide a side dish or dessert.

The recipient of the 2018 SCHS Alumni Scholarship is Ms. Andrea Halcomb, who graduated from NEVC on May 12, 2018 and will be recognized at the meeting.

If you cannot attend and wish to contribute to the fundraising for the annual scholarship of $1,000 given to a NEVC senior, you may send your donation to SCHS Alumni Treasurer, 7683 S 3000 Road, Schell City, MO. 64783. Checks should be made payable to the SCHS Alumni Scholarship Fund.
