The Class of 2019 at Northeast Vernon County High School is sponsoring a Spring Festival, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 1.

Among events and participants confirmed for the festival are a Hit-a-Thon fund raiser for the baseball and softball teams, where friends and family can pledge amounts for each foot players hit the ball in 10 tries. The NEVC FFA is also planning to have a chili cook-off and a Whack-a-Car, where festival attendees can take out their frustrations on an old car.

Clever Container from Cassy Trueblood has committed to a booth, as well as a snack and food booth from Connie Davis.

There are spaces still available. Contact any member of the Sophomore class for information. Admission to the event is free. Should the weather be bad, a backup date of April 8 has been picked.
