SCHS Alumni association 130th reunion dinner

The 130th Annual Schell City Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the NEVC Elementary School in Schell City. All SCHS Alumni and former classmates, NEVC Alumni, and SCHS friends are encouraged to keep this 130-year tradition alive by participating and/or contributing to the longest continuous high school alumni meeting in the State of Missouri.

Several classes to be recognized will be the classes from the years ending in a “2” or a “7”—i.e. 1942, 1947, 1952, 1957, and so on through the last class graduating from Schell City in 1996. The meat, beverages and service are provided by the Alumni Association. The cost for each attendee is $5 and each Alumni is requested to provide a side dish or dessert. The recipient of the 2017 SCHS Alumni Scholarship is Ms. Haley Elliott, who graduated from NEVC on May 13, and who will be recognized at the meeting.

If you cannot attend and wish to contribute to the fundraising for the annual scholarship of $1,000 given to a NEVC senior, you may send your donation to SCHS Alumni President, P O Box 105, Schell City, MO 64783. Checks should be made payable to the SCHS Alumni Scholarship Fund.
