Vickers-Galvin reunion Sunday

The 65th annual Vickers-Galvin reunion will be held this Sunday, Aug. 20, in the First Christian Church fellowship hall in El Dorado Springs.

Family and friends will gather at noon for a carry-in dinner to begin at approx. 1 p.m. Parking is available south of the church along Main Street across from the Post Office.

The Vickers-Galvin connection was made in the 1800’s as two Vickers brothers married two Galvin sisters. George Washington Vickers married Nannie Galvin and Settled near Dederick. Their descendants and relatives have gathered annually since 1951 for food and fellowship.
