Alvetta Faye (Bland) Allen

Alvetta Faye (Bland) Allen 89, was born in Cedar County on Dec 13, 1927, to George and Mary Bland. She went home to be with Jesus Christ her Lord on Oct 25, 2017.

Her husband, Freddie L. Allen,  preceeded her to heaven in 2003.

She leaves behind her brother, Leo Bland, of El Dorado Springs, and her sister, Ellen Eslinger, of San Diego, CA; her two daughters, Cindy Grooms, and husband, Jack; and Sandy Osborn and husband, Lloyd.

There are three grandchildren – Jan and husband, Zack; John and wife, Carla, and Trina and husband, Xavier. There are seven great-grandchildren.
