Bill Scott Bishop, 70, departed this life on Nov. 15, 2018, surrounded by his wife and family. He was born on Feb. 5, 1948, to Paul and Helen (Fortney) Bishop.

He graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1966 and graduated with a B.A. in Business from Abilene  (TX) Christian.

Bill married the love of his life, Carolyn, on Aug. 20, 1993, and they had three children who meant the world to him – Kristy, Craig and Kai.

He loved God, Carolyn, his kids, and his Beefmasters and he loved watches. Bill made his living buying, selling and trading vintage watches for over 35 years with his wife, Carolyn, by his side.

He had many many health problems over the years but he never let it get him down. Always said it made him a better person.

He goes to be with his father, Paul, his mother, Helen, and brother, Ronnie.

Bill leaves behind with a broken heart, his wife Carolyn; daughter, Kristy, and husband, Brian; son, Craig, and wife, Karen, and Kai; grandchildren – Jackson, Brady, Griffin, Rowan, Bennett, Emersyn and Hackett. He is survived by his brother, Gary, and wife, Madalyn; sister, Sue, and husband, Ted Thoreson; nephews, Tate Thoreson and Bo Bishop; nieces, Tannen Gurely, Ty Moran, Tedi Payne and Brooke Crooks; and many other great nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Services were held Sunday, Nov. 18, in the El Dorado Springs Church of Christ with Minister Craig Johnson. Music as “Higher Love,” “The Finer Things” and “Wake Me Up On Judgment Day.

Final disposition was cremation.

Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, was in charge of services.
