Billy Joe Daniels, Jr. age 44, of El Dorado Springs, gained his heavenly angel wings on July 21, 2019, upon his arrival in heaven. He passed from this life surrounded by family. Billy was born April 26, 1975, in Fort Leonard Wood, to Billy Joe Daniels, Sr. and Judy Ann Brown. Billy grew up all around, making new friends as he went, until settling in Appleton City, where he graduated in 1993.

In 1994, Billy and his best friend Brett Schiereck went off to the Navy together, where he served until 1997.  Billy worked for many years for Will’s LP Gas.

Those who knew Billy knew he was full of life and enjoyed having fun wherever he went. He met the love of his life, Ashley, and the two wed on June 16, 2007. They made their home in El Dorado Springs, MO, where they had two children, Khloe, age 10 and Ryker, age 5.

Billy enjoyed hunting, traveling, working on his jeep, and spending time with his children, from attending their sporting events, to taking them swimming.  He loved to spend time with his siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Billy found love for God, and he was an active member of Community Church. He was actively involved with the youth program.

Billy maintained his faith and trust throughout his long battle with cancer.

Billy is survived by his wife, Ashley, daughter, Khloe, and son, Ryker, all of the home; grandmother, Shirley Murphy of El Dorado Springs, MO; grandmother, Lois Brown of Denver, CO; brothers; sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Daniels; his mother, Judy Ann Brown; his grandfather, Joe Daniels; and his grandfather, Tom Brown.

Funeral services for Billy Daniels will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Chad Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are: Joseph Florido, Brandon Daniels, Chance Esparza, Brandon Wallace, Brett Schiereck, Nathan Murrell, James Raybourn, Dustin Leonard, Willie Crowder, and Gerard Bain.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help the family with expenses and left at the funeral home.
