John Joseph Desmond

John Joseph Desmond, 93, was born Feb 2, 1925, in San Francisco, CA, to Edward and Elizabeth (McHugh) Desmond. He passed away at his home in El Dorado Springs on Nov. 25, 2018.

On May 30, 1953, he was united in marriage to Charlotte E. Kohlman. They moved to El Dorado Springs in 1987 and have made it their home here for the past 31 years.

For many years John worked as an electrical engineer. In service to his county John was an Air Force Veteran of WWII.

John was preceded in death by one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, of the home and one sister, Maureen Havorka, of Roseville, CA.

Services and interment was in Sand Ridge Cemetery near El Dorado Springs Friday Nov. 30, with Rev. Howard McPeak officiating.
