Kenneth Grant Goodwin

Kenneth Grant Goodwin, 68, was born Aug. 8, 1949, to Irvin Grant and Merle Dean Goodwin (Jaco) in Modesto, CA. He passed away Dec. 13, 2017, in Golden City from a brief illness.

Ken was a middle child of five children. He graduated in the class of 1967 from Modesto California High and worked as a diesel mechanic for several years.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; younger sister, Roberta Price (1992); and granddaughter, Lacie Renee Goodwin.

He is survived by three sisters – Donita Hollaway, Paula and Mike Sherman of Modesto, CA, and Beth Wicker of El Dorado Springs; son, Timothy and wife, Tammy Goodwin, Sheldon; daughter, Tina and husband, David Brubaker of Golden City; grandchildren, Britney Simmons, Chelsea McCartney and Amber and Rylee Goodwin of Sheldon; Bryan Lambert of Alabama; and Levi Elijah Thaddeus and Georgette Brubaker of Golden City; and several grat-grandchildren.

A service will be begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, in the Sheldon Baptist Church.

Cremation under the direction of the Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs.
