Leta Pearl (Jackson) Raspaolo, 94, was born to Arthur and Mary Jackson on May 10, 1924, in Atchison, KS, and she went to be with the Lord on Jan. 16, 2018.

Sisters Juanita Bland, Wilma Weimer, Barbara Bryant and Patty Long preceded Leta in death.

Sister, Virginia Hillis, and brother, Art (Sonny) Jackson, both of El Dorado Springs, survive along with her children – George Barber, Virginia (Ginger) Miles, Kent Mosher, Bart Mosher and Bret Mosher; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Leta grew up in Cedar County near Caplinger Mills and graduated from Stockton High School.

The majority of her adult life was spent in southern California. About 10 years ago Leta relocated to El Dorado Springs and lived there until her passing.

During Leta’s final years in El Dorado Springs she made a profession of Christian faith. As a young person, she became fond of Herriman Chapel near Cedar Springs and decided to have her remains buried at the cemetery near the Chapel.

Details regarding a memorial service for Leta will be planned and published at a later time.
