Lois Faye (Ryun) Frikken, 85, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, in Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.

Lois was born on June 21, 1932, in Dover, to Gracie and Orvil Ryun. Lois was married to James Leroy Frikken on May 4, 2002.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mildred.

She is survived by her six children – Sharon Newman and husband, Dannie, El Dorado Springs; Linda Burns and husband, Terry, Stockton; Karen Neely and husband, Ron, Nixa; Susie Walker and husband, Joe, Collins; David Taylor and wife, Jan, El Dorado Springs and Mark Taylor, Bolivar; four step-children – Randy Frikken, Bayview, ID, Gary Frikken, Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Frikken and wife, Tammy, Wichita, KS, and Carol Inklaar and husband, Timothy, Hayesville, KS, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lois was raised on a farm in Dover. She was baptized at the Baptist Church in Higginsville at the age of 12. She later lived on a farm in El Dorado Springs. She loved listening to her children sing and play music with their father, George Taylor. Her favorite times were spent with family.

The family will receive visitors at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, in the Park Street Christian Church, El Dorado Springs. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. The family will travel to Dover for interment.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation in honor of Lois’ son, Mark Taylor, and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
