Vivian Hawkins, 47, was born to Ernest and Flora (Frizzell) Stewart on Nov. 29, 1970, in Osceola, and passed away on Sept. 26, 2018.
She and her family moved to Clinton when she was young and attended Clinton Schools. Vivian met and married Heath Hawkins having three sons.
She worked in construction and retail and enjoyed helping her brothers doing mechanic work. She loved music and would sing to any song that she knew, smiling and laughing, flowing the footsteps of her mom.
Vivian was always giving of herself, inspiring others to become better for themselves, being very positive/upbeat, with a great smile and kindred spirit that was contagious. That was just some of her many values. She did all of this in spite of her medical difficulties. She never met a stranger, always opening a door to those that needed one, helping people thru hardships, treating everyone she met like family and had many long distance friends. She could forgive anyone and never held a grudge, knowing how to overcome stressing situations.
She loved and adored her family, sons and grandchildren. Counting the days when she could get to visit them. Vivian lived life to its fullest with a smile on her face, always ending a visit or phone call with “I Love You.”
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Ernest Leon and one sister, Ethel Marie. She leaves behind two sisters; Melva (Earl) Pellegrin and Althea (Floyd) Wosoba of El Dorado Springs; two brothers, Edward (Johnna) Stewart of El Dorado Springs and Glen Stewart of Clinton; her three sons – Nehemiah, Nicholas (Teresa), and Zachary (Samantha); six grandchildren – RyLynn, Aimen, Z’Koa, Lyrc, Genevieve and Tarik of El Dorado Springs and partner, Mike Daniels, of Wahoo, NE.
A celebration of life service will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, in Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
