American Bass Anglers Division 126 will hold its 2018 season opener on Stockton Lake Sept. 23. The launch site will be Old State Park with registration beginning at 5:30 a.m. Tournament hours will be 7 a.m. til 3 p.m. Weigh-in will begin shortly after 3 p.m. Boaters and non-boaters are encouraged to enter; non-boaters will draw out with a boater just prior to take-off.

ABA membership fee is $25/year; tournament entry fee is $70/angler. All fees can be paid at the ramp. There will be a mandatory briefing at 6:30 a.m.

Anglers are earning valuable points toward the divisional Angler of the Year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual Ram American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of the Year Final Round at the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship, site to be announced.

The Ram American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship.
