Farmers are starting to harvest corn; gardens are still producing; unusual to have green yards and pastures in August, we are not complaining. Labor Day is this weekend, won’t be long before the humming birds will leave, fall is almost here.

Over at the Robin Sigismund farm “Belle” asked Robin if she was turning their home into a wild bird refuge.There was a blue heron, he caused quite a commotion but after supper he left, Belle doesn’t mind sharing the chicken feed.

John and Julia Snethen spent a quite week at home except for Thursday when John ran his bus route. On Friday, they went to Springfield to purchased a newer SUV.
