Winston says he didn’t falsify ambulance board minutes

At the Monday, May 20, meeting of the Cedar County Ambulance Board, Chairman Dennis Winston said, “One thing we need to take care of that came into question from the last meeting even though we all left the regular scheduled meeting last month under the impression that the check signers would be myself, Wes and John, it was called to my attention that we didn’t vote on it, which we didn’t, even though everybody left that meeting knowing full well who was going to be the signers of the checks. So just to fix what we did wrong, I guess, last month, I would like to make a motion that Sue’s name, Don’s name, Leroy’s name comes off all the bank accounts and my name, John’s name and Wes’ name be put on all the bank accounts.”

    Dade County Hwy. CC/Stockton Lake Bridge to close

    Dade County Hwy. CC at Stockton Lake is scheduled to close Tuesday, May 28, to allow crews to make major repairs to the bridge, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
