Memorial Service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, in Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs.

    Mary “Charlene” (Carter) Broughton, 88, was born on Oct. 26, 1927, in Commerce, OK, to James Franklin Carter and Mamie Isabell (Davidson) Carter. She passed away in the Community Springs Healthcare Facility on Dec. 30, 2015.

    Graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of the Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs.

    Jackie Len “Lennie” Hamilton. 70, was born April 27, 1945, the ninth child and eighth son of 14 children to Edward Lester and Antonia H. (Cruzan) Hamilton.

    Norman F. Huffstedtler, 81, El Dorado Springs, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 22, 2015, at his home. Norman was born on a farm in Gage, OK, on Feb. 3, 1934, to James Harry and Susie Sophia (Motes) Huffstedtler.

    As a young man he served in the Air Force as a maintenance mechanic and then went to work as an aircraft electrician for Boeing in Wichita, KS.
