Mt. Zion Home Bible study met Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home to study the Bible with two in attendance, low attendance due to the weather and illness; we invite you to join us.

Mt. Zion Club meeting was canceled due to the weather, will meet March 18 at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship hall for an all-day meeting.

Mt. Zion area welcomes a new citizen, Angela Grace Dodson, who arrived Feb. 17 at 11:22 a.m., 9 lb. 1 oz., 21 in. long. The parents are Justin and Karen Dodson and siblings are Joey,

    Jewell and Helen Ellerman and Rhonda Kneiver ate at Madalyn’s Kitchen Monday, Feb. 9. They have been working in the basement at the Schell City United Methodist Church getting ready for the Schell City/Harwood United Methodist Women's sale in May.

    Madalyn’s Kitchen at Schell City will hold a Valentine’s Dinner Saturday evening, Feb. 14, from 5-8 p.m. She will serve Prime Rib steak, baked potato, salad bar, dessert and drink for $30 for a couple and $15 for a single person.

    Great check-up for Helen Ellerman

    Bob and Cheryl Ellerman of Edwards, took Bob’s sister, Helen Ellerman, to Columbia Monday, Jan. 5 for her check-up for her knee replacement that she had in August. She does not have to see them again for a year. Helen and Bob’s mother went with them. They ate dinner at Denny’s at Columbia.
