Tri-County Quilt Club to meet Feb 2

Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Nick Van Dam entitled “Fit Feet” from Hebrews 10:19-25.

Mt. Zion Bible study was happy to meet after canceling last week, I do believe it was our first cancellation since we started 11 years ago.

The Mt. Zion area sure was glad for the warm up, ready to wait for the next blast of winter.

Still sickness around the area, we wish everyone a speedy recovery. Charles Wilson and Sheri Suster have been patients in the hospital.

Beverly Pelkey and Marge Zink made it out to the beauty shop not before they both needed too.

Tri-County Quilt Club will meet Feb 2 at 7 p.m. at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, weather permitting, if schools are cancel so are we.

Tom Pelkey has been out trying to replenish the wood pile.

The Rockville Hand Quilters had a good problem Thursday, all ladies were present; but at snack time we had three beautiful pies to choose from but that was easy, small piece of each. Glad the ladies felt like baking again.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle can’t seem to do anything right, was all loaded up for a ride on Daniel truck with his dog to help do chores and Robin made her get down telling Belle, “you need to do your chores first.”

Visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home have been Mitch and Kent Crawford. Kent had been hit hard by the flu bug but better now.

Remember to get your lettuce planted on Valentine Day, less than 50 days left till spring.

John and Julia Snethen had a meeting in Clinton Thursday evening which was canceled so they ran a few errands in Clinton.

Ron Thompson stopped by Friday evening checking on his w-2 and was back on Saturday to pick a feeder for Julia’s chickens.
