Those visiting Rozella Gammon Saturday afternoon, Nov. 3, were Ronnie Huckering, friend, Val of Willard, Bob and Jane Hutchison of Walker and Martha Lois Herbst of El Dorado Springs.
Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Nov. 4, were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Jeanie O’Brien and Ruth Ijams.
Connie Locke visited her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke, at Nevada Saturday, Nov. 3.
Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 4. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon “What Is God Directing You to Do” was taken from Acts 16:11-15. They held their first Sunday dinner after church.
Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Nov. 4. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “All You Need is Love” taken from Ruth 11:1-18 and Mark 12:28-34. Items were brought for Community Outreach. It was communion Sunday. Sunday School was held before church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Paul Before King Agrippa” taken from Acts 26:19-32.
Connie Locke took Jewell and Helen Ellerman to the Halloween dinner at the Schell City Community building put on by the Community Betterment. The grade school kids from NEVC paraded through with their costumes Wednesday, Oct. 31.
