Rockville United Methodist Church and River of Life Church Easter service was by Pastor Nick Van Dam was titled “Common Ground.”

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible with 10 in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club will meet April 18, for an afternoon meeting in the home of Marge Zink having our annual auction.

We wish Glen Mohn and Bob Suster a speedy recovery from recent illness.

Several from the area attended the VFW Post 11242 and Ladies Auxiliary at the First Christian Church in Appleton City; we need members.

Wanda Rector, Margie Siegismund and Bernice Martin enjoyed the dinner theater in Kansas City recently. Wanda returned home from vacation in Florida, the weather was cool there but there is no place like home.

Rockville Hand quilters enjoyed an all-day quilting with a bountiful lunch at noon Thursday; we finished one quilt.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey had three new kittens thanks to the stray cat that has been staying at their house; Tom been busy filling the wood box.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm things has been rather quite, Belle has been snoozing in the dog house a lot this colder weather thinking of warm biscuits.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home have been Stacy Griffith and Beverly Pelkey.

Julia Snethen made a trip to Knob Noster to take some things to granddaughter Shella Akers for her bridal shower on Thursday then Julia and John had dinner with the Ron Thompson family Saturday evening then played games before returning home.
