A white male, apparently alone, robbed Liberty Bank, 1406 South Hwy. 32, at approximately 10:26 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, according to a press release from El Dorado Springs Police Chief Jarrod Schiereck.
He reported that officers responded to the reported robbery and learned that the suspect was a white male 5’9” to 6’ in height and weighing about 190 to 200 lbs, in his mid twenties to mid-thirties, wearing large dark-framed sunglasses and covering his mouth and lower face with a black or dark colored fabric, and wearing a dark blue hoodie “pull over” sweat shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
The robber entered the bank lobby at 10:26 a.m. and demanded money from one of the tellers indicating a weapon was available. The subject left the bank when tellers were unable to provide him with additional money from other teller drawers.
He was last seen exiting the front doors of the bank then traveling north on foot. The investigation revealed that the suspect got away with about $4,400.
No employees were injured or harmed in this incident.
