Chief Elliott said that he and five firemen took a pumper and a tanker to Osceola. The fire destroyed three buildings but the massive effort by many fire departments from this area saved the rest of the block.
Elliott said it was 2:30 a.m. Sunday when the last ElDo firefighter got back.

Ms. Bond and her passenger, Hanna S. Quitno, 14, Nevada, were not wearing seatbelts and were taken to Nevada Regional Medical Center with injuries reported as moderate.
