Those having dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen after church Sunday, Dec. 2, were Pastor Connie Locke, Jewell and Helen Ellerman, Frances Lewis, Jeanie O’Brien and Ruth Ijams.

Rozella Gammon visited her sister, Bonnie Short, at Nevada one day this past week.

Connie Locke was a dinner guest in the home of her parents, Ben and Gloria Locke, at Nevada Monday, Nov. 26.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Dec. 2. Brother Cliff Bennett’s sermon “Messiah and Savior God’s Greatest Gift,” was from Matthew 2:1-12. They had their first Sunday dinner.

Church service was held at the Schell City United Methodist Church Sunday, Dec. 2. Pastor Connie Locke’s sermon “Ready or Not,” was taken from Jeremiah 33:14-16, Luke 21:25-36. It was the first Sunday of advent. The candle of hope was lit. It was communion Sunday. Items for Community Outreach were brought. Sunday School was held before Church. Jeanie O’Brien led the lesson “Spiritual Blessing in Jesus Christ,” taken from Ephesians 1:3-14. There will be no Sunday School or church service Sunday, Dec. 9, as Pastor Locke has to go to Horton and Metz and some of the members have other obligations that Sunday. They will have their Sunday School and church at regular time on Sunday, Dec. 16.
