On Monday, Nov. 26, the 3rd seeded Lady Bulldogs traveled to Warsaw to take on the 6th seeded Lady Cardinals of Lincoln.
From the start, the Lady Bulldogs took control of the game with their pressuring defense which led to easy baskets on the offensive end. The game was never in question as Lady Bulldogs won the game 66-9.
Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Alexa Schaaf 18, Kaili Simmons 16, Rachel Bush 11, Taylor Witt 6, Kinli Simmons 5, and Cameron McPeak, Tessa Durnell, Madison Mays, Becky Jennings and Kameron Schaaf all with 2.
On Wednesday, Nov. 28, the 3rd seeded Lady Bulldogs once again traveled to Warsaw this time to take on the 2nd seeded Lady Bears of Butler in the semi-final game.
The game started out back and forth as both teams struggled to stop each other. In the second quarter, the Lady Bulldogs defense stepped up and they took a 41-21 lead into the half. In the third quarter the Lady Bulldog defense continued to give Butler problems as they pushed their lead out to 30. At the end of the 4th quarter the Lady Bulldogs struggled with some turnovers and the Butler bears were able to cut the lead to 21, but the Lady Bulldogs held on with a 70-49 victory.
Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Alexa Schaaf 20, Kaili Simmons 16, Kameron Schaaf 10, Kinli Simmons 10, Rachel Bush 7, Madison Mays 4, Taylor Witt 3.
On Friday, Nov. 30, the Lady Bulldogs took on the Skyline Lady Tigers for the championship of the tournament.
Skyline took an early lead, but the Lady Bulldogs fought their way back into it by half going into the locker room tied with the #1 seed Lady Tigers. In the second half, the game went back with multiple lead changes, but the Lady Bulldogs fell short of the championship losing 51-54.
