EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Nov 26 – Officers responded to a reported assault at 805 South Jackson. Suspect has been identified and investigation continuing.

Nov 27 Officer responded to a reported burglary at 200 West Twyman. Investigation revealed the theft of 10 black and green, Interstate Car Batteries. Investigation continuing. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to call the El Dorado Springs Police Department at 417-876-TIPS.

Officer responded to a reported burglary of a storage unit at 300 East Spring, Unit 11. Several items were reported missing. Investigation continuing.

Nov 29 – Officers responded to a reported disturbance at 227 East US 54 Hwy. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Misty M. Rock, 32, El Dorado Springs, charging her with three counts of third degree assault on a law enforcement officer. She was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Dec 1 – Officers assisted Cedar County Sheriff’s office deputies with investigating the reported burglary of Allison’s Tire Shop on Nov 30, 2012. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Cody R. Bird, 19, El Dorado Springs, on the probable cause of burglary. Bird was turned over to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending charges.

Officers served Garrett M. Ecker, 28, El Dorado Springs, with a Cedar County felony warrant charging him with tampering with a motor vehicle and property damage with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond and court appearance.
