Sure has been lots of activities in the area. Appleton City fair, Osceola school reunion, busy time in the country. Lots of hay being baled, beans planted, the corn is growing. Some gardeners have corn tasseling, gardens are looking good, but we need rain. The showers have been missing the Mt. Zion area..

Marge Zink attended the all school reunion at Osceola Saturday was an enjoyable day but she is confused, she has been out of school longer than she is old.

Howard and Dixie Peterson attended Howard’s school reunion supper, lots of his class made it to the reunion. Brenda Peterson and Beverly Pelkey have been recent visitors in the Peterson home. Howard  has been baling hay, his dog, Lucy, doesn’t understand why she can’t help.

Over  at the Robin Siegismund Farm things have been quiet everything has been growing and under control. Even Belle.

Lots of visiting and enjoyable good times were had at the Appleton City Fair. Lots of good music, the Bean Supper was well attended

Along the country roads there are lots of different kinds of beautiful wild flowers blooming

The kittens at the Tom and Beverly Pelkey’s are at the cute stage now and playing and tumbling.  Hoppy, the dog, thinks they are un-necessary.
