Guests welcome to make lap robes

Morning Message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor David Souza was titled “Prepared” from Mark 1: 1-18.

The Mt. Zion Home Bible study held each Tuesday in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home at 7 p.m. had 10 in attendance to study the Bible. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Mt. Zion Club will meet Dec. 19 at the Christian Church in Appleton City. Plan to finish lap robes and celebrate Christ’s birthday. Guests are welcome; more hands make lap robes faster.

Wish Howard Hutchinson a speedy recovery from recent surgery.

Tri-County Quilt Club celebrated their Christmas party at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship hall on Dec. 3. Our guest was Santa.

Howard and Dixie Peterson enjoyed a trip to Branson on the Oats Bus.

Enjoyed the Senior Citizen’s dinner Dec. 5, hosted by the students at the Appleton City School. The food and music program was very good the service was wonderful, didn’t mind several from the area attended.

June Marshall is doing her usual visiting, shopping and painting. Peggy Baldwin came for the weekend. The ladies enjoyed church and dinner at Kidd’s Chapel, lots of good food with a large crowd attending.

Rockville United Methodist Church had their holiday dinner with a large crowd and lots of good food. Santa was there with stories and picture taken with him.

Sunday dinner guest in the Stanley Zink home were Mike and Stacy Griffith and girls. Sherry Peterson visited Saturday afternoon.

Visitors in the John and Julia Snethen home were Ron Thompson for the weekend and Cheryl and Mike Farrell Sunday afternoon visitors.
