Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church Pastor David Souza message entitled “Bear Fruit” from Luke 3: 7-18.

Mt. Zion Home Bible Study was held in the Joela Dains home being the second Tuesday of the month with 10 present at 7 pm Tuesday evening. Dec. 18 will be the last Bible Study of the year and will be in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey. Join us in 2013 at the Pelkey home to study the Bible.

The Mt. Zion area was saddened with the death of Tom Poole who passed away from this earth on Dec. 8. Tom will be missed as he was always willing to donate his printing skills and supplies to the Taberville Fire Dept. Stopping a project to copy a neighbor’s quilt pattern and forgetting to charge. Our love and prayers to the family.

Sympathy to the families of George Burkentine and Joe Pierce

What wonderful weather was enjoyed in the Mt Zion area. We had a nice shower, winter arrives Dec. 21. Hope it’s nice like fall was.

Dixie Peterson and Marge Zink spent Monday and Tuesday in Branson, having a good time shopping.
