CCMH welcomes Linda Houts to Medical Mall

Cedar County Memorial Hospital is proud to welcome Linda Houts, Master of Social Work (MSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), to the Medical Mall Clinic in El Dorado Springs.

Linda comes to the Medical Mall Clinic with extensive education and experience. Linda graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1992. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University in May 2008.

In May of 2010, Linda received her NSW degree from Missouri State University and completed her practicum rotations with Nevada Regional Medical Center in both Medical Surgical and Obstetrics and Adult Inpatient Behavior Health. In her most recent position, Linda provided behavioral health care to children and adolescents and their families at Heartland Behavioral Health Services in Nevada. Linda has Post-Masters training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Pediatric Mental Health. As a LCSW, Linda can provide diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic mental, emotional and behavioral health issues and disorders for children, adolescents and adults.

Linda is a member of Psi Chi, National Honor Society in Psychology, and a member of the Alpha Delta Mu, National Honor Society in Social Work. In 2009 she received Missouri State University’s Social Work Foundation Student of the Year award.
