Scott L. Fletcher, 58, El Dorado Springs, suffered injuries reported as serious in a one-vehicle crash on Hwy. O five miles north of El Dorado Springs at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22.

The report by Highway Patrol Sgt. G. Riggs said that Mr. Fletcher suffered a medical condition and the 2001 Toyota Tacoma he was driving eastbound traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and a tree and came to stop in a creek.

The report said he was not wearing a seatbelt. He was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
