On Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, co-workers, family and friends honored Byron Hamilton in the Cedar County Courthouse upon his retirement after eight years as the Northern Associate Commissioner. Hamilton retired in 2002 after working 40 years in construction and engineering in the south, out west and in Alaska.
