Mt. Zion Bible study was on vacation for two weeks but will begin Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey.
Mt. Zion Club will meet Jan. 16 at the home of Marge Zink for an afternoon meeting.
The Rockville United Methodist Church Quilters had their Christmas dinner and gift exchange Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. We enjoyed a bountiful delicious carry-in dinner and gift exchange cookie trays. Was good to see visiting grandchildren, delivering cookie trays.
It will be so nice to get back on schedule again, really did enjoy the holidays and the snow storm, the snow is always so pretty looking out the window.
June Marshall has been her usual self, keeping busy at home cleaning; she went to church Sunday and out to eat dinner.
Joela Dains enjoyed quilting at the Methodist Church Quilters recently.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey and Marge Zink enjoyed eating out and shopping in Clinton.
Several in the neighborhood have entertained the flu bug. Tom and Beverly Pelkey, David Souza and Margie Siegismund wish them a speedy recovery.
Saturday visitors in the Zink home were Mike and Stacy Griffith and Bob and Sheri Suster.
Howard and Dixie Peterson visited in the Brenda Peterson home in Richmond, Sunday Howard and Dixie along with Clyde Keith enjoyed supper in Montrose. Weekend visitors at the Crawford Deer Camp were Kent, Mitchel, Jodi and Tucker Crawford and Beth, Howard and Dixie Peterson.
Julia Snethen and Cheryl Farrell visited with Mark, Kristi, Mattie, Dakota and Chandra Farrell in Ashland. They went early Saturday morning for the day and spent the night returning home on Sunday afternoon. Other visitors were Ron Thompson and friend, Carrie, of Columbia. John stayed home and babysat the dogs.
