The 2018 summer season for the Municipal Band is now over. The Band members would like to thank the members of the community that came out to listen to the Band concerts for their faithfulness and support every week. We continue to have fun playing together, but it is always more inspiring when we have a great audience to play for. Thank you for caring enough to come out to watch the Band.
I appreciate all of the Band members who use their talents every week to come play for the folks in our community and who give of their time every weekend. I would also like to thank my husband, Elbert, who helps me get the music ready every week. I would be lost without his help! We would like to thank our Band Members for a great summer. Our Band Members are faithful to come every weekend and play when it is hot and they are tired. But they love playing. Many of them grew up in our Band and have left town to get jobs, but come home every weekend throughout the summer because they love being part of this family.
This summer was the Band’s 133rd consecutive season to perform.
