Olympia RFD to host chili, soup feed

The Olympia Rural Fire Department will host its annual chili and soup day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, in the new Olympia Rural Fire House on Hwy. 97 three miles south of Hwy. 32.

For all you care to eat chili, dessert and drink, adults will pay $6, kids 3 – 12 $3 with those under age 3 eating free.

To enter the drawing for $100 cash, get tickets from members or at the Fire House on Jan. 19 – $1 each or six for $5.

There will be an auction during the day of gift certificates and items donated by local merchants.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets and meals and any donations will be used for new equipment and the building fund.

The Olympia Rural Fire Department is a not-for-profit, all volunteer organization.
