EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Jan 8 – Arrest: Victor S. Price, 30, El Dorado Springs, charging him with third degree assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Timothy W. Buxton, 33, El Dorado Springs, on an active probation and parole felony warrant with no bond. He was extradited to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending court appearance. Officers also arrested Edna M. Davenport, 55, El Dorado Springs, charging her with obstruction-interfering with arrest. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Victor S. Price, 30, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while suspended. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers served a search warrant at 403 South Ohio, Apt #6. Search resulted in the arrests of Bryan L. Courtney, Jr., 22, El Dorado Springs, charging him with keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, possession of up to 35 grams of a synthetic cannabinoid and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $10,000, and, Skyler D. Dozler, 18, El Dorado Springs, charging him with keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, possession of up to 35 grams of a synthetic cannabinoid and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia with a cash or surety bond of $10,000. They were released on bond pending court appearances. Investigation continuing and additional charges are expected.

Officer responded to a reported larceny at 404 South Ohio. Investigation revealed the theft of two bicycles. Investigation continuing.

Jan 9 – Officer responded to a reported larceny at 317 South Park. Investigation revealed the theft of a small, black and brown, Rottweiler puppy. Investigation continuing. Officer responded to a reported larceny at 204 South Jackson. Investigation revealed the theft of a black, Dell, laptop computer, believed to have been stolen on Dec 26, 2012. Jan 10 – Officer responded to a reported larceny at 210 South Vernon. Investigation revealed the theft of a white, 100 gallon, propane tank containing approximately $300 in propane. Arrest: Jacob A. Bowman, 18, El Dorado Springs, on an active Vernon County misdemeanor warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of minor visibly intoxicated/blood alcohol content more than .02 percent with a cash only bond of $400. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officer responded to a reported larceny at 113 West Hickory Investigation revealed the theft of a book of checks from an account issued by Bank of America. Investigation continuing.

Jan 11 – Officer responded to a reported burglary at 106 East Lafayette. Investigation revealed the theft of approximately $200 in US Coins and a red, Nikon, Cool Pix 53300, digital camera. Jan 12 Officer responded to a reported larceny at 100 East US 54 Hwy. Investigation revealed that a male subject, wearing a ball cap, operating a black, four door, passenger car, left Casey’s General Store without paying for $10 in gasoline. Investigation continuing.

Jan 13 – Officer responded to a reported larceny at 303 West Broadway. Investigation revealed the theft of an orange, NEXT, Rampage bicycle. Investigation continuing.
