Dr. Jack Reynolds, formerly of El Dorado Springs, will be the guest speaker at the annual I Love El Dorado Springs Banquet sponsored by the Spring City Revitalization Group. The banquet doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16. at the Old Community Building in the Park. Tickets will be available soon.
After 34 yeas of providing health care and community service in El Dorado Springs, Jack retired from practicing medicine to spend time with his family and to continue his life’s work of community service and philanthropy. Jack and his wife, Jean, live in Olathe, KS., where they enjoy being near their immediate family which includes two little granddaughters that captivate much of their time and attention.
In his spare time, you will find him working as a volunteer at Heart to Heart International which works to provide medicines and medical supplies to poor countries. The organization’s goal is to help people in need, do it efficiently, let everyone serve and make it transformational.
You might also find him volunteering as an usher at the Kaufman Center in downtown Kansas City where he has mastered the art of finding seats anywhere in that beautiful auditorium or you might find him behind the registration table at the Kansas University Track Meet or other local charity run.
Certainly you will find him at all the KU basketball games.
Jack remains active and supportive of E Dorado Springs through the El Dorado Springs Community Foundation and remains as, he was once declared, “El Dorado Springs Greatest Cheerleader.” What better speaker could have at the annual banquet?
Please join us for this local fundraiser, say hello to an old friend and support the community that we all love.
