Sheriff Scott Keeler reported deputies made five arrests during the week of Oct. 8-12, 2018.

Warrant Arrest

Clint Wilkerson Sr.- On Oct. 11, Clint Wilkerson, 46, Richland, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Henry County warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor driving while revoked/suspended-second or third offense, an unclassified misdemeanor for no insurance, and an infraction for no seat belt. Total bond is set at $337 cash only.

The original charges stem from a traffic stop by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Sept. 13, 2017.

Ryan Logan- On Oct.11, Ryan Logan, 45, Blue Springs, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Jackson County warrant for a probation violation on an original class D felony resisting arrest/detention/stop by fleeing-creating a substantial risk of serious injury or death to any person. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Logan was driving. The deputy ran the vehicle tags and it showed to belong to Logan. Dispatch advised Logan had a warrant out of Jackson County.

Kaylee Conner- On Oct. 10, Kaylee Conner, 23, Warsaw, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle Conner was driving for traffic violations. Upon making contact with Conner and the passenger, the deputy could smell the odor of marijuana. The deputy asked Conner for consent to search the vehicle. Conner did give consent. During the search of the vehicle, the deputy located a glass pipe in the center console with a white residue in it. In a bag, that Conner admitted was hers, in the back seat, the deputy located a clear plastic container that had a white crystal like residue along with other drug paraphernalia. The glass pipe and baggie did field test positive for methamphetamine.

Edwin Lyons- On Oct. 9, Edwin Lyons, 41, Ashland, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants for probation violations. The first probation violation was on an original class C felony possession of a controlled substance. The second probation violation was on an original class C felony burglary in the second degree. Total bond is set at $10,000 cash only.

The original charges stem from investigations from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 20, 2013 and Jan. 2, 2015.

Samuel Wellington (file photo)- On Oct. 9, Samuel Wellington, 25, Clinton, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him a class D felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The arrest comes after a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to Shelby’s Gas Station in reference to a possible drug sale in the parking lot. When the deputy arrived on scene, the deputy made contact with the remaining subject, Wellington, in the parking lot. The deputy asked for and was given consent to search the vehicle Wellington was driving. During the search of the vehicle, a baggie was found with a white crystal like substance in it.The substance did field test positive for methamphetamine.
