Lighthouse to host Angels Appreciation Week

The Friends of The Lighthouse Children’s Theatre are thankful for the partnerships we have formed with the individuals and businesses in our community. Since 2007 their generous funding and in-kind donations through our Angel program help the Lighthouse fund children’s productions and community events throughout the year.

In 2013, the Lighthouse is offering enhanced partnership levels with enhanced benefits. Individuals and businesses can make their donation in memory of a loved one. “The Light Shines On” scholarship fund has been established for Lighthouse graduates pursuing higher education. Last year, 2012 El Dorado graduate Chelsea Johnston received the first “Light Shines On” scholarship. Johnston expresses her gratitude to all who made her scholarship possible.

This week marks the third annual Lighthouse Angel Appreciation Week. The Lighthouse will host three days of appreciation luncheons at Pogo’s Restaurant. Throughout this week Angels will be invited to have lunch with LCT Board members. The children of the Lighthouse will present Angels with a gift. Angels will be receiving the LCT 2012 Annual Report. This report gives Angels a snapshot of the completed calendar year’s events and a preview of the year in advance. The Annual Report gives Angels a bird’s eye view of the Lighthouse Children’s Theatre finances and contains LCT’s financial income and expense report.

The Lighthouse Board, parents, staff and students want to say a special “thank you” to each of our Angels who are making the most important investment in the future of our communities–our area youth.
