Rapist pleads guilty to 23 charges, gets 447 years

A Maryville resident pleaded guilty on Jan. 14, 2013, in Cedar County Circuit Court before Circuit Judge James R. Bickel to 23 charges including forcible rape, forcible sodomy, kidnapping, felonious restraint, sexual abuse, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and domestic assault. Ricky Faron Dillard was sentenced to a total of 446 years in the Department of Corrections with the 22 sentences, all of 30 years or less, to run concurrent, plus one sentence of a year in the county jail.

Dillard was arrested on March 8, 2012, by the El Dorado Springs police stemming from a March 6 incident. He was 54 at the time of his arrest.

The charges include: forcible rape (2 counts) with a person less than age 12, serious physical injury, display deadly weapon, subject victim to intercourse – 30 years on each count; forcible sodomy (5 counts) with a person less than age 12, serious physical injury, display deadly weapon, subject victim to intercourse – 30 years on each count; sexual abuse with serious physical injury/display deadly weapon in a dangerous threatening manner, sexual contact with a victim less than 14 – 25 years; domestic assault – 2nd degree – 10 years; domestic assault – 3rd degree – one year in jail; kidnapping – facilitating a felony, inflicting injury, terrorizing – 30 years; felonious restraint – 15 years; unlawful use of a weapon – six years; armed criminal action (10 counts) – 15 years on each count.
