Helen Ellerman and Connie Locke went to Kansas City Tuesday, Jan. 22 to see Ruth Ijams who is a patient at St. Luke’s Hospital. She is now at Bishop-Spencer Rehab.
Joleen Carter, a former resident of Harwood, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Jan. 23, at Ferry Funeral Home with burial at Lefler Cemetery.
Rozella Gammon attended Red hats at Pogo’s Pizza at El Dorado Springs with Judy Friar at hostess Friday, Jan. 25.
Connie Locke attended funeral services for Kathryn Dilly at Ferry Funeral Home at Nevada Friday morning, Jan. 25 Kathryn was Connie’s sister, Vickie Dilly’s mother-in-law. She is married to Jim Dilly.
Gary Joe Dunn and friend, Gale Grinder, of Deerfield visited his grandmother, Frances Lewis, Sunday, Jan. 27.

It was the third Sunday after the epiphany. Sunday, Feb. 3, will be communion. Sunday School was held before church. Pastor Locke led the lesson “Stand Firm” taken from Philippians 3:12-16
