Get smart about your smart phone

University of Missouri Extension in Vernon County will sponsor classes for you to Learn How to Use Your Smart Phone. These three separate sessions, based on your type of phone, will be taught by Leslie Carroll-Barlett, retired Extension Technology Specialist.

All will be held at Nevada Library meeting room, 218 W. Walnut in Nevada. All sessions are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a cost of $20/session.

Classes are as follows: iphones – Feb. 12, Windows phones – Feb. 19 and Android phones – Feb. 21. Class size is limited.

Register for the session you want by calling the Extension Center at 417-448-2560 at least one week prior to the session. Let us know at that time if you need any special accommodations. In case of bad weather the meeting may be rescheduled.
