In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On November 5, 2018, officers responded to 313 W. Pine concerning a reported burglary. A report was taken, suspects have been identified, and the investigation continues.

On November 6, 2018, officers responded to 100 E. Hospital Road concerning a reported larceny and property damage. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On November 6, 2018, officers arrested Sara R. Culbertson, 25, for an active Cedar County Misdemeanor Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of No Insurance and Driver Fail to Secure Child Less than 16 Years Old in Properly Adjusted/Fastened Restraint, with a cash only bond of $250.00. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 6, 2018, officers arrested Maureen M. Hagerty, 56, for an active Cedar County Felony Warrant charging her with Unlawful Use of a Weapon, While Intoxicated in possession of a Loaded Weapon, with a cash or surety bond of $10,000.00. She was extradited to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance. Officers also completed a Probable Cause Statement for Ms. Hagerty for the charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, and Fourth Degree Assault on a Special Victim. 

On November 8, 2018, officers responded the police department concerning a delayed report of a larceny which occurred on November 7, 2018, at 805 S. Kirkpatrick. The investigation revealed the theft of a black, Samsung Galaxy, S7 cellular phone. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On November 8, 2018, officers responded to the police department concerning a delayed report of a larceny which occurred on October 26, 2018, at 901 South Grand. The investigation revealed the theft of a King, Model TB606, brass trombone and its black case, and two brass buckles. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On November 9, 2018, officers arrested Juliette E. Smith, 48, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear per Court Order on the original charge of Driving While Revoked, with a bond of $586.00.  She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 9, 2018, officers responded to 1107 S. Forest concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a gray bicycle with red spokes, beach cruiser style, a black bicycle, and an orange and red carriage. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On November 11, 2018, officers responded to 112 W. Hightower concerning a reported violation of an order of protection. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Carl M. Reid, 45, charging him with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, and, Melissa D. Coonts, 52, charging her and Driving While Suspended. Both were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On November 11, 2018, officers responded to 609 N. St. James concerning a reported burglary. A report was taken and the investigation continues.
