Leave winter doldrums behind and experience the sounds and sights of summer at the 2013 Progressive Insurance St. Louis Boat & Sportshow. From Feb. 6-10, America’s Center and Edward Jones Dome will transform into an outdoor enthusiasts’ paradise with the latest boats, marine accessories, fishing gear and hunting equipment, plus a rare chance to ignite the senses and escape to the Lake of the Ozarks at the new Lighthouse and Harbor experience.

•Hands-on education and DIY fun includes fishing and hunting seminars from top pros at the Boating and Outdoor Classroom and the Texas Bass Tank; Fred’s Shed, a garage-like learning atmosphere, helps DIY lovers sharpen skills with an array of seminars on boat repair and maintenance; and a look back at history with classic boat beauties at the Antique and Classic Boat display.

Fred’s Shed technician is non other than area marine service business owner, Ben Minor, aka, the Outboard Doctor, who will not only do several seminars through out the show dates, but will also work one-on-one with those who come into the booth with their own special issues. Ben would like to invite his many friends and acquaintances from the area to stop by the booth.
